Campillo Gran Reserva 1995 shows a cherry-red with purple tones in the rim, it opens up its aroma after gentle oxygenation in the form of generous notes of red fruit combined with nuances of oak. Good attack with moderate acidity. Full-bodied with a good tannic structure moving towards a long, pleasant aftertaste. So that Campillo Reserva Especial 2001 is a a clean, cherry-red wine with a ruby-red rim and a complex aroma with hints of ripe fruit and spices on a smooth base that evokes new wood. Ample in the mouth, meaty, with good tannic structure, ending with an elegant and well-assembled bouquet. Portia Prima 2007, is continuing its large amount of awards in these first months of the year. It shows a very deep cherry-red wine with youthful hues at the rim. Intense aromas, with numerous nuances, particularly of very ripe dark fruit, blending into the aromas from good ageing in fine wood, against a background of peppercorns, with hints of vanilla accompanied by toasty and balsamic notes. Very powerful attack and very meaty in the mouth, with sweet, agreeable tannins and a pleasant, unctuous finish.
