2 Gold Medals for the wines of the Faustino Group at the Berliner Wein Trophy

At the last edition of the prestigious German wine contest Berliner Wein Trophy, two wines from the Faustino Group has been awarded with the Gold Medal. Gold Medal: Portia Prima 2007 and Fortius Chardonnay 2009 This contest is the second most important in Germany and is sponsored by the International Vine and Wine Office. It also has the recognition of the Berlin Senate and the European Union. At this 2010 edition, more than 3.000 wines from all over the world have been registered. The gold medal of Portia Prima 2007, comes to add to the many awards that Bodegas Portia has won. The building of the winery is nearly finished and this medal confirms again the good job that the Faustino Group is doing in Ribera del Duero. Also one of the remarkable wines we are producing in Bodegas Valcarlos, Fortius Chardonnay 2009 is “harvesting” a good number of international and domestic awards in these last years.
