Grupo Faustino has been awarded with 8 medals at the prestigious and famous Concours Mondial at Bruxelles, hosted in the Italian city of Palermo. Among over that 6.000 wines registered, the Grupo Faustino wines have obtained excellent qualifications: Gold Medal: Faustino V Reserva 2005 Faustino V Reserva 2005, has been awarded again and this medal comes to add to the recognitions obtained by this wine, a reference in the range of wines of Bodegas Faustino. The vintage 2005, qualified as Excellent, makes this wine one of the Rioja star wines. Faustino V Reserva is made from Tempranillo and Mazuelo grapes. Its colour is a deep cherry-red with tawny rim. Intense aroma, fine toasty notes from the oak and hints of red berries against a light background of stewed fruit. Notes of vanilla and spices contributed by the oak during barrel ageing. Also the Faustino Group wines have obtained these other medals: Gold Medal: Campillo Reserva 2004, Marqués de Vitoria Crianza 2006 and Fortius Chardonnay 2009. Silver Medal: Faustino 9Mil, Campillo Gran Reserva 1995, Campillo Crianza 2006 and Portia Prima 2007. These awards comes to add to the last prizes obtained by Faustino Group at the international and domestic wine contests.
